The Author
"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." - Robert Coller. This is a quote that Juan Andres Miguel Y. Barriga, also known as Ski, lives by. He is a person that enjoys the little things, and he tries his best to do the right thing. Morality is one of the things that Ski values, and he is always thinking of what is right, and what is wrong. As an individual in the society, Ski has a good understanding of his surroundings. In the future, Ski thinks of either being an Architect, an Engineer, or an Industrial Designer.

Ditas Yap is the mother of Ski. Her artworks teach him how to explore different mediums, instead of sticking to only one medium. Ski really admires her flexibility in terms of art, and he is happy to have her close by.
Rodmark Barriga is the father of Ski. He taught Ski how to look deeper into the artworks, and to understand the story that the artist is trying to portray. Although Ski is new to creating art, he understands how to appreciate the things that he sees. Vincent Van Gogh was a Dutch painter that is a big inspiration to Ski. His form of art, and the detail he puts in them amazes Ski in many aspects. Starry Starry Night was a famous painting of Van Gogh, and Ski believes that this is one of the best paintings in the world. |
The future is something that motivates Ski. He wants a future with good health, a stable lifestyle, and a happy family. His dream is to make enough money to be able to support his parents, and his siblings. Although he may feel unmotivated at times, he still thinks about the future more than he thinks about the present.
Another motivation of Ski is to have a good status. He wants to establish connections with people in order to have sources. Knowing people could lead to success, because they could help him out in terms of knowledge, material things, and support. |
